BEAM Plus assessment is Hong Kong’s leading initiative to offer independent assessments of building sustainability performance.

YLEPP is located near wetlands and rivers, it is accessible to green space and blue assets. Together with sensibly planned spaces based on local standards and guidelines, YLEPP will provide high quality recreational spaces for the public. Renewable energy systems, like combined heat and power generation and photovoltaic panels will be adopted as energy sources to the site.

YLEPP will be designed and constructed according to the BEAM Plus – Version 1.2 for New Buildings with the achieving target BEAM Plus rating to be Platinum. YLEPP also reached the BEAM Plus – Version 1.0 for Neighbourhood Platinum rating.
